Phonak Audéo Lumity - Conversations shine with Lumity

Introducing Phonak Audeo Lumity. Available in Phonak's full waterproof version, the Lumity Life, featuring an array of extra features and facilities based on the Paradise platform. The Lumity bring together the natural sound of the Paradise platform but encompasing features to further help with reduction of background noise when in speech situations. Available in rechargeable only there are also updates to the recharging station for more convenient and stable rechargeabilty. Fully immerse in conversations around you and enjoy easier hearing in many situations with the features described below.

Below we will list some of the extra features in Lumity wwich build on Phonaks already successfull Paradise platform, incorporating better clairty of sound and better speech in noise understanding. 

SmartSpeech Technology

SmartSpeech technology is the new update that incorporates a unique collection of features, designed to deliver the benefits of improved speech understanding and reduced listening effort in various listening environments for those with a hearing loss. Some of these features include:

SpeechSensor

With SpeechSensor, clients are enabled to hear from back and the sides. This automatic feature detects the main speech source and adjusts its microphone modes to ensure the client has more access to speech from side and back. 

StereoZoom 2.0

Lumity hearing aid wearers benefit from focusing a narrow microphone beam to the person speaking to them from the front, thanks to StereoZoom 2.0. This gives more focus to the speaker whilst the wearer is in background noise. This reduces listening effort for the wearer and enables a smooth, streamlined conversaion.

Adaptive Phonak Digital (APD) 2.0

Adaptive Phonak Digital (APD) 2.0 is designed to balance audibility, loudness and sound quality. It does this by applying a dedicated processing algorithm and pre-calculation for a comfortable, spontaneous first-fit acceptance. APD 2.0 leads to reduced listening effort in noise for those with mild to severe hearing loss.

Connectivity

The Lumity Audeo is universal connectivity to any bluetooth device such as smartphone laptop tablets etc. Plus, as an added convenience, you can simultaneously connect to two Bluetooth devices and seamlessly alternate between the two. They have rebuffed their 'My Phonak' app which contains four different aspects.

• Remote support - Convenient remote video support from your hearing care professional / Real-time hearing aid adjustment over distance in real environment(restaurants, meetings, work and school) / A remote opportunity to test your hearing directly through the hearing aids with your hearing care professional.

• My Hearing Aids- Status information of the connected hearing aids and hearing aid accessories / Battery state of charge / Wearing time statistics / Auto on - out of charger configuration / Bluetooth phone call configuration / Tap Control configuration

• Hearing Diary - Rate your experience / Overview on hearing aid usage / Share your experience and feedback with your hearing care professional to optimize your hearing / Follow up on hearing goals with your partner.

• Remote Control - Adjust and control volume and frequencies of Phonak hearing aids / Select programs for defined listening situations / Create own preferred settings for specific listening situations / Dynamic Noise Cancellation through improved Speech Focus slider.

Phonak have also released a new feature for the phone called Tap Control. Tap Control allows the user to answer the phone, stream and pause music and activate voice assistant such as Alexa or Siri simply by tapping their new Lumity hearing system. It has a special built in microphone to allow true hands-free calls and voice activation.

Build Quality

The Lumity receiver in canal (RIC) products use Nano Coating on each component within the heairng aid meaning Phonak can now officially call the hearing aid 'Waterproof'. The hearing aid is called Lumity Life version. 

Phonak have also provided two different types of chargers. These are:

• Phonak Charger Ease - Provides charge for L-R and the RT versions in just three hours 
• Phonak Charger Case Go - Specifically designed for the Audeo Lumity Life to charge in just three hours.

Available Hearing Aid Styles/Colours 

The Phonak Lumity Range currently has 3 different products in their range:

Audeo Lumity L90 RT- Rechargeable receiver in canal product with built in telecoil and ROGER as well as Tap Control and Health and data tracking.

Audeo Lumity L90 R - Rechargeable receiver in canal product with Tap control and data and health tracking. No telecoil.

Audeo Life Lumity L90 RT - Rechargeable receiver in canal product. Fully waterproof with tap control and health and data tracking.

The colour range for the Lumity is the same as the previous generation the Paradise.
